Koothattukulam-based Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Eye Clinic and Research Centre has launched the service of a full-fledged mobile eye clinic. Set up in a spacious caravan, the mobile clinic houses modern diagnostic equipment, pharmacy and services of specialist doctors and technicians. Commemorating the 4th death anniversary of Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Eye Clinic and Research Centre’s founder Dr N P P Namboothiri, services of the mobile clinic will be available in the northern districts of Kerala from today (Jan 23) till January 28, 2021.
The mobile clinic will stopover at Balussery today (Jan 23), at Kunnamangalam on Jan 24, Pazhayangadi on Jan 25, Kanhangad on Jan 26, Kasargod on Jan 27 and at Vadakara on Jan 28. To avail the services, patients are requested to book in advance as per the covid protocol on mobile numbers 96056 00053 (Kozhikode); 96056 00064 (Kannur/Kasargod). Sreedhareeyam offers treatments to all eye ailments including myopia, astigmatism, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, retinitis, pigmentosa, Eels’ diseases, macular degeneration, optic neuropathy, presbiopia, uveitis, keratoconus and eye ailments related to old age.
With more than 400 years of tradition in ayurvedic eye care, Sreedhareeyam has got 9 IP centres and 24 OP centres across the country including the the super speciality hospital in Koothattukulam, one of the largest ayurvedic eye hospitals in the world.
